What causes unwanted pregnancies? Mostly, the fact that people had unprotected sex and ended up with an unwanted child. So, tackling that problem rather than banning abortion will be root to solving this problem. Society and most importantly government needs to understand the reasons why women get abortions and if the reason is that people are not informed about safe sex and are not careful, then we should encourage safe sex, which will decrease the number of unwanted pregnancies, and thus eliminate abortions. This can be accomplished by making access to safety tools, like condoms easier, by educating teenagers about importance of safe sex, by looking at examples of other countries, which have lowest rates of
