On November 23, 2016, I visited Gallery 522 in Bismarck, ND. There are various artists throughout the gallery. Susan Lundberg’s watercolor painting, Raindrops, beautifully depicts five individuals, three women and two men, standing on the street corner in the rain holding different colored and size umbrellas. PreTemp on Paris is an oil on canvas painting also by Lundberg. This painting illustrates a man sitting on the bench in front of a large building. In the foreground are trees and light posts. The painting has exquisite detail and has a great emphasis on outlines and geometric shapes. Stephanie Delmore’s gouache, Nutcracker Suite, stunningly displays four ballerinas dancing.
