We have the power to make a positive change. More family time less tv, more preparing meals together less eating processed manufactured food. As a teacher I feel feel like it my obligation to educate parents and children the importance of this. Why? Well simply because not everyone had the same upbringing I was fortunate enough to have. They must make the time for each other. Parents must pass along the life skills they were shown such as the simplicity of sewing a button on a shirt.
In conclusion I truly believe the key for a healthy child is all in the hands of the parent. Though times have changed and the percentage of divorce is high, it's possible for parents to coexist for the sake of the child. Family time and a limited time of technology will help kids avoid a number of social and health issues. “The family -love it or hate it -is where the grown-up generation forms the generation to come.” Not making the time will make it all the more difficult for children to adapt into adulthood and who are we to keep them from
