Susan Blake's Failure

Rocks slipped under her feet, as she climbed higher and higher. Susan Blake is a thirteen year old black belt in karate, eighth grade student, and a highly trained detective, in her own opinion. She has jet black hair, and tanned olive skin. Her most trusted characteristic is bravery, which always helps her on a job. But today it seems like it is failing her. Suddenly a huge chunk of the rock fell and she was hanging on by just a ledge which was slowly weakening. Susan quickly reached up to a different edge and then swung herself onto a platform of rock. She then saw a doorway to an so called “Smoothie Shop,” where she sneakily crept in and hid behind a computer trying to catch her breath. The sudden fall had her scared but she was not going to give up. Well, you all must be confused on what she is …show more content…
Then Hazel suddenly knocked a metal thing on Susan’s head and she blanked out. Let us continue with our story on how this happened now.
So after that rough day of school, you would think she had enough of this but, it just was getting started. The next thing Susan did was go to her mom’s coffee shop. It is called “Coffee Stoppe,” named by Susan’s dad. Her dad had died a few years ago. He tried to help Susan on one of her cases,but when they had to go skiing on the ski slopes in Vermont to catch a bad guy, he accidentally skied off a cliff. Susan had been so sad she quit sleuthing for a while, but she started again because she knew her dad would have not wanted her to stop doing what she loved because of him. Well, once she entered, she felt a warm welcoming smell of green tea and ginger. My mom made her way to through the crowd of customers and gave me a BIG hug. She then enthusiastically exclaimed “I missed you sooooooooo much!!!!!!”
