Great Post! When I was writing my discussion post, I was torn about Susan’s true beliefs towards African Americans. She is considered an anti-racist by many people, however, she is known to do racist actions such as teaming up with the Southerners to fight against black men voting. Nevertheless, I completely agree with you. As I stated in my post, Susan B. Anthony was torn between going up against Blacks or fighting for the white women vote. As you concluded in your post, she just simply had an agenda and she didn’t want to be placed behind anyone else. I understand her decision, however, I do not know if I would have done the same. I would feel as if I was betraying a group of people I have been trying to help.
