Susan B. Anthony and several other speakers have also helped the fight against social iniquity. After Susan B. Anthony was fined for voting in the election in 1872, she worked hard to write speeches and protest for women’s rights, and succeeded when the 19th amendment was created, allowing women to vote. Martin Luther King Jr. helped fight racism and discrimination by speaking to huge crowds in Washington D.C., and led a revolution against racial discrimination.
