Surviving The Applewhites Characters

Recently, I read a sensational book, Surviving the Applewhites. This stupendous book is written by Stephanie S. Tolan. Within the story, there are many important characters. Yet, I believe there are three characters that are the most important. They are E.D. Applewhite, Jack Semple, and Destiny Applewhite. One of the characters, E.D. Applewhite, is an important part of this story. She is really organized. Meaning, she sets up her own curriculum for what she learns in school and accomplishes them in sequence. Also, she is very clever. Which means, she understands math, knows a lot about butterflies, and can make things up quickly under pressure. Like, when she fixed a meeting with Mrs.Montrose on the phone, in a blink of an eye, and when she fixed the problem about the lights going out (during the play.) The way E.D. learns is, by following and plan and working independently. A struggle she has is, that she doesn’t fit in with the other Applewhites, she lacks artistic talent. Another important character in this story is, Jake Semple. Throughout this story, Jake's personality changes. In the beginning, he acts rebellious. He is a very curious four-year old. He his always asking Jake questions about his hair and piercings. Also, he is really good at singing and finger painting. The way he learns is, when E.D. teaches him the main idea of each assignments she completes. An achievement that he has accomplished is, that he sang in the play, The Sound of Music.
Without a doubt, Surviving the Applewhites has some extraordinary characters. Including, E.D. Applewhite, a very intelligent student who feels invisible in her artistic family. Also, Jake Semple, a notorious boy whose parents are in jail. So, it causes him to live with a bunch of strangers. Lastly, Destiny Applewhite, a little boy who admires Jake. Obviously, Surviving the Applewhites has many captivating
