Survival Is Selfish Research Paper

Survival can mean many things to people but in my book, I do not think that survival is selfish. Survival isn’t selfish to me because I was once in a death and survive situation and i’m glad that I survived because looked where it brought me now. Good friends, good family, good food, and good sports. Others might say that it is super selfish and they give the reason that their life isn’t perfect or if you are in that situation and you try try try and nothing works then give up. I would have to give a strong NO to that opinion. To begin, the past two days in class we watched a documentary about survival. It had these three men in the video and two of them were mountain climbers and were in the middle of climbing a mounting. Well long story short, they were going down the mountain and the snow collapse and one of the dudes broke his foot and fell down a hole. There was no way to get the guy back up to his buddy so he left and thought he was dead. Later on he tried so hard to get out and survive and next thing you know is that he is out and they found him and saved him. When I watch that …show more content…
Say you are with some of your buddies and all of you guys go in the woods and do some exploring and fishing, whatever kids like to do in the woods. But while you are fishing you realize that on the other end of the line there’s this big tuna fish and you are having trouble pulling it in. You look at your friends and they are setting up a tent. Next thing that your friends know is when they look at the lake and you aren’t there. You’ve been pulled up from land and now swimming with that tuna on the other end of that land. You smack your head on a log in the lake and next thing you wake up to is on a different island. Friends are wondering what happened, your family doesn’t know that something bad happened to you.
