Survival In 'My Escape From N. K.'

Can you survive in the woods, alone, in the cold? In order to survive in conditions like those you have to have extreme survival skills. In the articles “My escape from N.K.”, “Trapped,” and the movie “Lone Survivor,” these characters had these skills to survive. It takes courage, endurance, and intelligence to be a survivor. Courage is used in survival because if you don’t believe in yourself then you won’t think that you are going to survive. Courage is used in the story, “My escape from N.K.”, because she got caught trying to smuggle her family out but she got away with it. What happened was a Chinese policemen stopped them and tried to talk to her family that didn’t understand what he was saying and the girl told the policemen that she was helping the deaf and blind. Aron’s main skill is endurance as he has to survive for five days with only a bottle of water and a little bit of tools. “I update my hour tallies in my head: 96 hours of sleep deprivation, 90 hours that I’ve been trapped, 29 hours that I’ve been sipping my urine, and 25 hours with no fresh water.” It’s good to have endurance if you’re surviving for a long period of time. If you have endurance like Aron you will have a higher chance pf surviving. Intelligence is used to be a survivor because if you don’t use your brain/knowledge to make smart moves. Lone survivor uses intelligence because they have to when to be quite or when to shoot or not shoot. An example of intelligence is when they have to make 3 decisions, “Killing the kids, leave tied up and let them tied up and being killed by animals, or release them and take the risk of them telling the Islam community.” When people use their knowledge they make smart choices to be safer. Intelligence is used a lot in lone survivor and many other books, movies, songs,
