Survival for the Fittes The end of the world is here! I’ll be the survivor, the one who lives through it all and comes out stronger for it. The difference between survival and being a survival are slim but important. Survival is simply the ability to stay alive and use your surrounding to help you. Being a survivor however, means multiple things to multiple people because survivor is unique; they were able to stay alive, they survived and threatening attack, or they lived through a life- threatening accident. The survivor is the person who comes through those events, and uses them as a strengthening point, not a crutch or an excuse to got through the rest of their live with.
The people in the Ordinary Man helped people, neighbors, and guest stay alive. “They were explicit exhortation for the ordinary man citizens to break into the homes of their neighbors and kill them where they stood”(pg. 82, Ordinary Man). This is saying that the ordinary man was able to survived and made sure others did too by taking them into his hotel helping them survive. “I stayed at my post and continued to do my job as an manager when all others aspects of decent life vanished”(pg. 78 Ordinary Man). This is saying that Rainford drugged himself when he could of overdosed and doing dangerous things. “Down a watercourse, not a quarter of a mile away, he could see the bush moving”(pg.11 The Most Dangerous game). This is saying that rainsford jumped off a cliff to show the general that he died so the general thought he died but Rainford didn’t and killed he kill the general he also won The Most Dangerous
