Surgical Technician Research Paper

Why Surgical Technology There are several reasons to become a surgical technologist, and numerous reasons why I would like to proceed with this course. Taking this class showed much more information about the profession than I discovered doing independent research. Learning about all the changes in medicine and surgical technology is difficult to put in one paper. Through this paper I will discuss my reasons to proceed in this course, information that I learned over the last eight weeks, my plans for the future, and the different qualities needed in the healthcare field. Growing up I never thought about branching out into the medical field as a career. Instead of medicine, I envisioned myself as a chef, restaurant manager, computer repair technician, or customer service representative. I would be living my life content with what I believed was the best I could ever accomplish. However, helping others is what I actually discovered to be my most passionate trait, and I now find myself pursuing goals in this field. During free time I loved watching medical. It will take years, a great deal of work and determination. However, I will strive to accomplish my dream one day. Every day I dream of being in the operating room helping others the best way I can. I may not be the surgeon that performs the procedure, or completes all repairs. Although, what I can be is a valued surgical team member with many important tasks, helping the patient through whatever is needed to provide a healthier outcome. I plan on applying for the surgical technology class once I’m given the opportunity, but first I would like to complete all my prerequisites. Everything is planned out so that I will have all but the surgical technology classes finished by next spring. I’m extremely organized and always plan ahead. My goal is to give my classes 100% of my attention, and to do my absolute
