Children and teens should not be able to get plastic surgery because confidence is not formed by looks and there is always going to be something kids want to change about themselves. It sends a harmful message because it is suggesting that changing their looks could stop the bullying or potentially get rid of it forever. For instance, confidence is not formed by looks. Romo is an efficient way to give all teens with deformities, a surgery based on Dr. Romo’s qualifications. On the other hand, Dr. Romo explains that Renata’s birth deformity known as Hemifacial Microsomia is more common than people realize. Even though Renata’s deformity was small she had not noticed it is the beginning,until she was examined, but was accepted into Little Baby Face Program. Donovan had a small facial problem, and was not accepted in due to the fact his was more “cosmetic”. Based on how the percentage of teens getting plastic surgery is going up, there will be more due to the fact of kids gaining confidence but, it may not be as easy to get picked if more and more teens are wanting the procedure
