Right at the beginning of the third debate there is a question about the Supreme Court asked by moderator Chris Wallace. Hillary responds by using reasoned persuasion by bringing up movements and cases close to a lot of people’s hearts. This shows reasoned persuasion because she says that her supreme court will be on the side of these movements and be better than it is now. Then once Clinton finishes her response Trump begins his counter. He begins his counter by immediately attacking a Supreme Court justice in Ruth Ginsburg. This shows manipulative persuasion because he is trying to get people to side with him because she made some uncalled for accusations toward him. This is manipulative because he is using unethical actions to persuade supporters to like him more than the competition.
Skipping over the second amendment part of the debate Chris Wallace then brings up abortions and Roe v. Wade which incites a lot of pathos from both candidates. Trump begins his response by saying he is going to appoint pro-life justices to the Supreme Court. Trump thinks he is going to win and there is no way that Hillary will win. In his words there will be pro-life justices appointed to the Supreme Court. This means that abortion will be a huge

The Supreme Court should be able to overturn unconstitutional laws that Congress has passed. There are many reasons to give the Supreme Court this power, first we need someone to enforce the fact that no law should violate the Constitution. Next, it helps balance the three branches of government, and lastly the Constitution puts judicial power into the Supreme Court and inferior courts. This power will stop substandard laws from getting passed, and will protect the structure of our government that is extremely based on the Constitution.…

I would not be able to participate in high school athletics if Title IX was not passed. Women would still be overlooked, still be told to have two roles in life (which was to clean and take care of children) and still be stuck in a hole.…

The issue of declawing is being made more obvious to the horrors it can cause to your beloved feline friend. When an onychectomy, otherwise known as a declaw, is performed it is equal to cutting off your finger at the first knuckle. The bone of the third phalanx is removed, it is not just cutting the nail off. Cat's nails retract, by cutting into these muscles and tendons you risk serious long-term physical and emotional impacts. 61 of 163 cats experienced chronic pain for 1-42 days after the surgery ("American Veterinary Medical Association", 2016).…

The way the jury pool is made up is not fair. It is not fair, there are people who have a car and drive, but they don’t have a voter registration card, so they have a slim chance that they will have to serve jury duty. They should change it so that people who drive and have car, should get called for jury duty even if they don’t have a voter registration. Many people who have a car and have voter registration have to serve on a jury more often than a person who has a car, but does not have voter registration.
