• One every child within the team has finished the activity they will be allowed to move onto the next station. At each station a different child from the group will perform the activity first to ensure that the activities are fair.
• Finally, all children will choose their favourite activity and perform it for five minutes before going back into the setting.
The Expected Outcome of the Activity:
The aim of the activity is to encourage children to participate in more physical activities to help them keep healthy. The activity should be very effective because all the activities included were chosen from the most frequently used items at play times. This will not only help the children to realise that physical activity can be fun but that there are various different things you can do to keep active. The activity will help to teach the children that healthy lifestyles are important because some of the children will noticeably become tired quicker than others. This will help to explain to the children that if they do not keep active they may not be as healthy as they need to be. The activity will help to introduce new physical activities to the children that they can introduce to their parents or carers when they are out and
