In todays world the transportation has been called as Integrated Logistics which includes different fields like Logisitcs, Transportation, Warehousing, Supply Chain Management ,Container forwarding services ,etc.
This means that the process of planning and controlling has to be balanced by considerations to emergent phenomena and the processes of self-organization taking place in the flow of products and information.

Logistics is a process of planning ,implementing and controling the flow of goods and services from the point of origin to the point of destination. The main link between transport industry is its network ,infrastructure and resources that satisfies customers requirements.
The main reason for the boom of transport industry in India is the increasing demand and customer requirements for various industries like Automobiles, Alluminium ,Cables, Plastic ,Paper, Pollister etc.
With this intention the transport industry has innovated and diversified itself to the competition in order to meet customer needs at the fullest level. In order to achieve this the companies are now outsourcing its operations to different transport companies to manage the effective workings and flow of resources in the industry.
