Collaboration Increases revenue across the board for all the stakeholders – When the organizations succeeds in developing value added products, the results are felt across the board and everyone gains the piece of the pie. As demonstrated by the bloomin onion example, when it succeeded, it increased the demand of onions and created a whole new market of growing of a particular size.
Lower costs – Increased collaboration between various stakeholders enables long-term supply contracts which stabilizes the demand resulting in decrease in costs significantly.
