Thank you for your discussion contributions this week concerning ethics in treating children with supplemental growth hormones. It is a known fact that when a child is diagnosed with growth hormone deficiency, the long term treatment for such will be in most cases, most beneficial than that of a an adult diagnosed with growth hormone deficiencies later in life. Question for you Michael, have you ever known of anyone suffering from growth hormone deficiency and are you aware of the side effects of receiving supplemental growth hormone treatment (GHD)?
