An open dialogue between supervisor and myself should an important factor at an agency. There was a case study about a social worker, who attend NA meeting with a friend. The friend decided to seek help from the social worker’s agency. However, the supervisor decided that the social worker should work with the friend. The social worker mentioned to the supervisor that she thought that the friend became to use drugs again. The supervisor ignored the social worker’s comments and told her to work with her friend. I wondered if the social worker had shared that she was in the same NA meeting as her friend, then maybe the supervisor might have decided differently My ethical dilemmas were with sharing personal details with supervisor and the agency’s
