America Ferrera and a long list of awesome co-stars bring this occupational comedy to life, giving the audience fodder for laughing out loud and letting go the stress of the day.
This comedy series is perfect for anyone who has worked even a day in a retail store environment. Superstore has all of the necessary elements of a workplace comedy show, complete with all the stereo-types. The clueless bourgeois boss, the militant sub-boss, the stoner, the funny disabled guy, the handsome boy, his love interest, and just about every other demographic you could imagine is represented. Superstore has also managed to bring up a few pressing topics that normally wouldn't be discussed on a comedy show.

Those numbers are improvements compared to the season one finale, with the rating up 0.1 points and a rise in viewers of 0.77 million.
The day after the premiere for season 2, NBC officially announced that they would be adding another 9 episodes, bringing season up to a total of 22. However, the following week, Superstore was 20% down from its premiere.
This season's premiere was not nearly as strong as last season, when the series debuted with 7.21 million viewers tuning in, but the difference may be due to NBC moving the show from its Monday night time slot for season one, to Thursday night for season 2.
As the network plays around with the time slot to see where this young series fits best, viewers tend to get momentarily lost. Those who didn't get the memo about the change from Monday to Thursday, might find their way mid-season. Anytime a show gets moved, it affects viewership.
The numbers look good so far, and if they hold steady or grow then perhaps NBC will announce something official about a season 3 renewal Soon.
