Being literate is a gift that you can give to yourself by learning how to read and write. Literacy is one of the most important resource that we have to work hard for obtain it. We as human being use literacy to communicate with other people by writing to express our feelings and concerns, and we use reading to know the opinions and thoughts of other. I remember how my godmother was always buying new books for my sister and I, in my bedroom I had a little tablet full of different books about children’s stories. However, I remember one special book called Nacho, it was the helpful book that I had in my process of becoming literate. Moreover, my uncle Rossy was always worried about my education life. She helped me to do my homework in the correct way, and it was the reason I had good grades in school. When I was in my early age, I was supported by my family in my learning process.
