Since the Golden Age of comics in the 1930’s, Superman and Batman have captured the imagination of comic readers. These two superheroes, one with God like powers and the other a man of keen intellect and wealth unimaginable, have fought crime in completely different fashions. The strong Midwest upbringing he received instilled in him an incredible respect for the laws of man and the preciousness of life. His unwillingness to break any laws has caused major issues with other superheros within his world, while being an example that other strive to follow.
