The Speed Force is an extra-dimensional energy that powers all of the DC Universe speedsters’ superhuman abilities. It is known that Jay Garrick, the inaugural Flash, did not obtain his super speed by accident through the speed force like any other speedster, but rather obtained his speed as a blessing from the Roman God Mercury. It is not clear as to how Hermes obtained his speed, but it is safe to say that he was

A hero is someone who steps up when everyone else backs down. Heros come in all different sizes but are recognized as people who are admired for their great qualities and good deeds. Both Athena, a goddess from the book the Odyssey by Homer and Harry Potter, a wizard from the book series by JK Rowling are considered great heros. While it is true that Athena is a great hero, it could be said that Harry Potter appears to be an even greater hero because he is loyal, selfless and has courage. Nicknamed the "Scarlet Speedster", the "Crimson Comet", "The Blur", and "The Streak", all of the incarnations of the Flash possess "super speed", which includes the ability to run and move extremely fast, and seem to violate certain laws of physics. So far, four different characters, each of whom somehow gained the power of "super-speed", have assumed the identity of the Flash: Jay Garrick, Barry Allen, Wally West, and Bart Allen. Jay Garrick became the Flash when he accidentally inhales hard water vapors after taking a smoke break in his laboratory where he had been working. Barry Allen became the Flash when one night, as he is preparing to leave work, a lightning bolt shatters a case full of chemicals and spills all over, but in the new…

Hermes had a lot of strengths, including that he delivered news to far away places, since back then they didn’t have a whole lot of transportation. Hermes had a very important symbol that a lot of gods respected, that symbol was called the Caduceus or as we know it, the medical sign. The Caduceus had two snakes that are wrapped around a pair of his wings near the top.…
