Superhero Research Paper

Superheroes have been circling throughout media for what seems like forever, bringing creativity into some people's lives, however, here recently their popularity has grown exponentially. In the past couple of years the superhero market has been in high demand, and marketers have not been underperforming. No matter the publisher, Marvel, DC Comics, or even Vertigo, no one is disappointing. Publishers are bringing many forms of superhero media into light, and the fans are loving it. There are many reasons that superheroes have gained popularity, but first it must be understood why they were originally popular, then the crave for adrenaline, new innovations in technology, rising television series, deep story structures, and relatability can be accounted for.

Superheroes are known for their greatness, so people want to be able to relate to them. Writers are not oblivious to this fact, which is one reason that superheroes are currently on the rise in the media marketplace. Even though some of the incidents in superheroes lives that people relate to are not enjoyable, they can provide people with hope. Most superheroes rise from tragedy, only a lucky few do not, which many people can relate to. Superhero number one lost his mom at the age of five, and so did Suzie, an average teenage girl struggling to overcome obstacles within her life, so when Suzie sees this man who rose up because of his loss, she believes that she can to.
