Although I do not agree with an outsider evaluating the company, there can still be some minor benefits to the company. For small businesses, the benefits can be can be both tangible and intangible; however, the bottom line reflects the tangible advantages to engaging the services of a consultant (Mayhew 2015). Surveys have been utilized a lot in the workplace and have not been as successful as one would like to think. Some examples could be if the employees appreciate the new set of rules that were implemented, or the company’s new vision. Simple surveys can just get straight to the point without having to do much in the process. My school usually sends out surveys at the end of every semester for the evaluation of the professors. They usually consist of about 15 questions that rank from 1-5.
