I'm sure you've seen it before in a movie or anime series. The good guy gets his butt kicked by the bad guy, goes into training mode, and comes back as a badass to kick butt.
And you know during that training he was focused *only* on one thing. That's how he get so good at it.
But look at your life, are you focusing *only* on one thing?
You can really only improve one thing in your life at a time.
Here is how you do a little something I call: **Super Focus**
Look at your current list of goals or make a list. Try to get at least 10 to 20 goals on paper. From there choose the top 5 important ones. Then your top 3. And then, it's real important for you listen to your [gut](http://badassu.net/always-listen-to-your-intuition/) …show more content…
Sounds temping, but you shouldn't do it.
You'll spin your wheels too much trying to meet both requirements.
But if you do Super Focus on just one goal, you should see benefits in other places of your life.
And once you are finished with that one goal, you can move on to the next, but with all your energy and focus.
### You Are Studying Theory Instead of Putting in the Reps
In other words, stop reading blogs and just take action over and over again.
There is a great story about a ceramics teacher who split his class into two groups, one that focused on quality and the other quantity.
But, oddly enough, at the end of the year, the quantity group also produced the best quality pots.
The other group was just stuck thinking of theories in their ivory tower.
Taking action is the *only* way to do the super focus technique.
> While I've heard of this story before, I was just reminded of it after reading James Clear's article about [achieving your goals](http://jamesclear.com/repetitions).
