The SuperTracker surprised me specially on the physical activity tracker, since it provides options of many types of very specific physical activities, and allows you to compare each day of the week, as well as the difference in intensity, estimated calories burned, and duration of physical activity at work compared to grocery shopping and practicing vigorous sports, to name a few. At the research study that I work at, my job is to ask participants about their physical activity in a typical week while they are at work, doing sports, recreational activities, and to get to and from places, so this instrument helped have a better sense of the questions that I ask almost everyday and to connect these with my actual physical activity.
Regarding my dietary intake and activity status compared to my targets, it really surprised me the high amount of sodium I consumed. I knew that my status for certain nutrients, minerals and vitamins was going to be low, but I never expected to see such a high amount of sodium present in my diet. I do try to add as little amount as possible of salt in my food, but the food choices that I make still have high levels of sodium.
