Sunshine Dentistry is in the process of making large changes to the organization. The company is reevaluating their marketing tactics to better suit the local community and improve their return on investment. The company does a great job at tracking their referrals but does not have a marketing plan or strict budget in place. One of the largest areas that Sunshine Dentistry would benefit from is regularly updating the website and Facebook page. Many consumers turn to the web for information about businesses therefore, it is critical that the website have the most recent information available and that their Facebook page is active for continued brand recognition. Incorporating technology into the marketing of the business will also save the organization time and resources. Small changes such as emailing the monthly newsletter rather than advertise it in the local newspaper will save the company around $900 per month. Sending SMS text message reminders and confirmation request will save the company from spending several hours per week making confirmation calls. Brand recognition is an important factor for Sunshine Dentistry therefore, incorporating a set amount of funding to sponsor local organizations that are seeking donations benefits both the organization and Sunshine Dentistry. The organization also receives brand recognition through their advertising in the newspaper, local movie theater, and Tubac Villager and should continue to advertise through these sources.
