When Taylor writes to her mother her headlight are coming with her, this proves that she is willing to commit to the child. Therefore, Turtle starts to become lively and intellectual; Turtles first sound was a laugh. This demonstrates the happiness in Turtles life at that point. I think that sound was a laugh. Upon reading the interview with Cliff Shaffran and the required lecture materials, I find that several Shaffran's points resonate with me. After having gone through several unproductive meetings that do not have goals clearly established, it is easy to feel time is being wasted. Besides this, if you add the fact that individuals at work are constantly on the stress area, you have a recipe for disaster. Based on my experience as a meeting participant, every time creativity and collaboration were encouraged is where I felt more productive. In consequence, I believe an effective facilitator should always strive to do this a reality.…

It was Saturday lunchtime. The hot summer sun beat down on the faces of the families in the stands during the last Little League game of the season. Moms, finding comfort in the familiar faces of friends forged through three months of uncomfortable green bleachers, bee stings and sunburns, chatted casually about the back-to-school sales for the upcoming year. A handful of men, still intently focused on the games, paced by the backstop, shouting advice to their progeny, perhaps envisioning a MLB baseball legacy.…

It was a night like most others in the abandoned ghost town. All I saw was darkness and shadows creeping around every corner. I heard the howls of coyotes and the hooting of owls through the midnight air. The whistling wind rang the rusty, wind chimes dangling from the old run-downed mansion. The sign above read “Muddy Creek Manor”.…

Many experiences in my life have changed my views in multiple ways, but by far the most life changing experience has to be when I was elected Daingerfield District Vice-President for the FFA. This experience has broadened my comfort zone of shyness and unconfidence, and as the FFA Opening Ceremonies say, it brought me “into the glorious sunlight of brotherhood and cooperation.” I finally began to realize after Greenhand Camp, my freshman year, that I might have a potential future in the FFA. With the support of my chapter, friends, family and much devoted prayer, I was able to accomplish my fears and officially announce that I was running for District Officer.…

For this field expert interview, I interviewed one of the first grade teachers, Mrs. Heckman, at the school where I work. I decided to conduct my interview on Mrs. Heckman for this particular assignment because last year I worked in her classroom during an undergrad course and I really liked her classroom management style. I believe that she is fulfills the expert aspect for this paper because like with most classes, she has a very diverse classroom when it comes to behaviors, yet it is clearly apparent that her class is more managed when comparing other classrooms. Mrs. Heckman has 38 years of teaching experience where she has taught third grade for eight years; kindergarten for ten years; and first grade for twenty years. The following…
