“Summerlost” has an incredible story about 12-year-old Cedar Lee, who has moved to Iron Creek, Utah, for the summer with her mother and younger brother, Miles. As this family tries to come together again after the car accident that took both Cedar’s father and her other younger brother, Ben, this book follows their journey through it all. Outside of Cedar’s new house, she quickly meets enthusiastic Leo Bishop. Leo Bishop gets Cedar a job at Summerlost, which is the town’s annual festival. Her friendship with Leo just gets stronger when Leo is working to earn money for a trip to London to see his favorite actor play Hamlet, but Cedar is undecided
