Summer Student Nurse Intern

Decent Essays
I am writing to apply to be a summer student nurse intern for the summer of 2018. I came across the internship opportunity through my peers that have participated in internships such as this one. I am delighted to possibly be considered for a position that would further develop my nursing skills and allow me to spend my time with patients. I am looking to gain more experience and am seeking a position that will challenge me and my existing knowledge.

As a second-semester nursing student, I have acquired many fundamental nursing skills that I hope to improve and build on. Thus far, I have assisted patients in their daily activities, assessed patients and taken vital signs, and administered medication following medication administration safety.
