English 9 summative character analysis

The man from “To Build a Fire” is one of less intellect from normal Alaskan

people. He could be noted as; Thick-witted, stubborn, or just plain stupid. As most

alaskans know, it can be well below zero in the frozen tundra climate, you should

always have heavy protection from the cold on. Even the wild dog that accompanied the

man knew well of this concept. the old man of sulphur creek had told the man this but

he laughed, as if to say that the old man was stupid or delusional. But nevertheless he

had been warned of the frostbite and freezing temperatures of the tundra. His journey

did not end in a high note because of his nonsensical decision to
