Just a reminder that all facility and maintenance requests should come directly, if I am not available Zack Lubanski will assist. It is important not only for the contract to track and assign their employees, but If work is being performed without my, or the contractor's knowledge, then it appears as if our maintenance personnel is not warranted, and we are unable justify our need to have the contractor's services. Additionally, some types of services can only be provided by those who are certified to do so. This is for your, and our students' safety.

The desire to have things done quickly is what we all want but there are procedures in place for a reason.

In order to define this relationship, I had to consider what the contract was originally intended for and what is actually involved. My first step was to go to the Canada Revenue Agency’s (CRA) website to find their guide titled Employee or Self-Employed? (http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pub/tg/rc4110/rc4110-e.html).…

Teenage plastic surgery has been around for decades, but most recently the amount of teens getting cosmetic surgery has been increasing at an abnormal speed over the years. Today’s society focuses more on looks than anything else that should actually matter. Teenagers and young adults want to be the most beautiful because others make them feel self conscious of themselves. This has been deemed important, as cost is an important factor in determining if a code is realistically possible to implement. (Construction Codes and Standards, National Builders Association) It is interesting to note that different guidelines are applied to different types of structure so professionals must be knowledgeable on each type of structure and follow the codes for that particular class of building. An example of these types of buildings includes an institution where people may need assistance in leaving a building, such as a retirement home or a school. In this instance certain codes will mandated, including the need for specialized equipment to be on hand to assist in evacuation in case of an emergency.…

Question #1 Response: As a Project Manager for the Los Angeles Parks Foundation from 2012 to 2014, I implemented over $4 million in public-sector capital improvement projects. This involved drafting requests for proposals, contractor and subcontractor agreements, right of entry permits, and contract completion statements. One of my main responsibilities was to perform regular on-site inspections and ensure compliance with our contract performance standards. In addition to my regular site visits, I would periodically coordinate inspections with architects and engineers from our partnership organization, the Department of Recreation and Parks, to verify that all work was in accordance with LA City construction standards. Prior to approving work proposals, I would perform professional background checks on contractors, review past completed works, and exercise due diligence in the general vetting process.…
