First of all, All 129 men on the Franklin Expedition died and where they went, still remained a mystery for some time. According to one of my sources (https://www.theguardian.com/) The Arctic Research Foundation came accross a bottle with a note in it from a Inuk crewmember that stated they had abandoned ship due to a ice wreck. This evidence shows that the crew must have survived some time after the wreck or else they wouldn’t have wrote the letter. According to the article “Doomed ship found 168 years later” if they pumped all the water out of the HMS Terror it should be able to sail or float on water. It will be hard getting it out of the water. So, this shows that the HMS Terror has a possibility to start sailing again or maybe pulled out of the water to be repaired. In the text of the article it says “The wreck is in such good condition that glass is still in three of four of the windows in the cabin of the ship.” This means that the HMS Terror is in great condition it just needs to be a little repaired.
