I was there, trying to explain to the prince about the horrible tragedy. “We still have known thee for a holy man.” said the Prince, as it ringed through my mind. I felt guilty about Romeo and Juliet’s death. In contrast, the prince sees me as a holy man and knows that i was just trying to help them. I know can prove myself to show that I am innocent.

“Earlier this month Romeo killed Tybalt and I had to take care of him at my cell” I began to tell the prince. “You had ordered Romeo to flee to Mantua.” I continue. I remember Romeo saying “In what vile part of this anatomy Doth my name lodge? Tell me, that I may sack The hateful mansion.” I remember that at that point Romeo took his dagger and was about to kill himself. “So I had to

The Friar felt as though he had to come up with a way of getting Romeo and Juliet back together after Romeo’s banishment. This was a very risky undertaking and he should have worked to convince Romeo and Juliet to come forward with the truth that they were married as soon as Romeo was banished. Instead, Friar Laurence devised a ¬¬¬plan that involved Juliet pretending to be dead by taking a 42-hour sleeping poison. As part of the plan, he would send a letter to Romeo asking him to come and take Juliet away. Friar Laurence shows his irresponsibility by asking Juliet to be part of this very dangerous plan.…

My Lord, My God, why have you left me to suffer here by myself? All is indeed lost and no sense of redemption can be found. Tybalt is in his grave dead to this day, no trace of recovery can be found by the doctors or the wisest men of the land. This is severely devastating and heartbreaking; words cannot describe what I’m currently going through. Tybalt was a great man, he was the man of the people, he nurtured and took care of me from my infant ages to my maturity stage, I even dare to say that he was the greatest teacher that I have ever had a dialogue within the whole of Verona, even greater than the late Hieronymus Fracastorius.…

The decision that I found to be particularly hasty was Romeo's decision to commit suicide. I believe that this decision was impulsive and fueled by Romeo's emotions. It lead to not only his death but his lover Juliet as well. If Romeo had been more thoughtful instead of letting his grief and desperate thoughts overwhelm him, he could of created a different ending for the play, one not as tragic. Before Romeo made such a decision, he had been waiting for Friar Lawrence in Mantua to send him news of the uplifting sorts when Balthazar had told him that Juliet had died.…

In Conclusion, I think that Romeo is a young, inexperienced and impatient but loyal and brave boy. I think that his naivety plays a huge rule in this because love was taken as an extravagant feeling to have when it was not truly happy as the lovers can experience heartbreak and many other obstacles. It seems as if Romeo only more cautious and deliberate, his devastating ending could have been prevented (even though we have not finished the book yet). Amongst friends especially Mercutio, Romeo shows signs of his social and quick witted persona, even with his fond of verbal jousting that is mainly about sex. Lastly, Romeo is like every other male in the world who only unveils their true self to the people who they trust or who understand them.…

Romeo has a melodramatic reaction to the news. The friar gives a speech about how Romeo is acting like a woman and how he should be thankful for this merciful punishment. After his circumlocution, the friar informs Romeo that he will help out Romeo by setting him up to spend the night with Juliet before he sets off to Mantua. Once again, the friar is relying on the chance that the Capulets will not come into Juliet’s room during the night and the watchmen will not see the two of them. In addition, this may make it even harder for Romeo to leave Juliet the next day.…

The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, is to be one of the most famous tragic love stories ever written. We all may know how it ends, but who really caused this tragedy besides themselves? Of course all the characters mentioned in the play encouraged one conflict or another, but briefly mentioned was sweet Rosaline. She breaks Romeo’s heart ever so much, causing him to beg for her forgiveness. To do so, while reading a party guest list for a wandering servant, Romeo comes across Rosaline's name, and insists on attending his family's enemies party, the Capulets.…

“Tragedy is an imitation of an action that is complete and whole… (Aristotle 31)”. This theory conveyed by Aristotle in his renowned work Poetics expresses the idea that a successful tragedy consists of specific principles that reoccur in classic literature. The theory emphasizes that a tragedy represents reality and universal truths rather than historical particulars. This is achieved by creating a tightly-woven cause and effect chain or “unity of action” that centers around the plot rather than the personalities of the characters. Also, the plot of the tragedy should have complex, specific, and coherent turning points, that are a part of the “unity of action”.…

By the time they’d made it out of the city, Juliet felt about ready to collapse. Both her mind and body had been run ragged, and she didn’t think she’d ever felt so tired before. She’d lived a sheltered life before she met Romeo. The Nurse would wake her near noon each day and she’d be served breakfast in bed, then would take her lessons with her tutors before joining her family for dinner, after which she was sent off to bed early (though her nurse often let her stay up, a secret well kept between the two of them). Her parents had spoiled her, treated her almost like a baby with how sheltered she was.…
