While Chipotle was taking a step towards the well being of its customers, many believe this action started an attack that caused more harm than good. In 2015, Timothy B. Lee of Vox.com wrote an article that discussed the rise of people getting sick from eating Chipotle. At the time, Chipotle was getting the word out about the changes they decided to make in their restaurants. They made the statement that all their foods were now going to be free of genetically modified organisms. They were the first major restaurant chain to make this announcement. To avoid the reoccurrence of any of these, I believe Chipotle is already doing the right actions. I think Chipotle is taking all precautions that need to be taken and are doing everything in their power to prevent this from ever happening again. In my true opinion, I feel that they should investigate even more thorough than previously before so that they can have a concrete case against the biotech industry for what has been done. Other than that opinion, they seem
