The Office of Correctional Health (OCH) presents topics twice a year at ACA Conferences to enhance healthcare providers’ practice and their understanding of correctional medicine. Presentations will provide means to measure competence from surveys after each workshop. Workshops will focus on current practices meant to enhance the providers’ performance that directly impacts patient care. Compliance to the results will lead to better patient care and adoption of changes in their practice. Knowledge acquired will increase understanding of current guidelines for better outcome.
OCH will offer educational topics that are current in the area of correctional medicine that are selected from the input of physicians to enhance their knowledge. Skills
