Men aremore likely to become the CEO of a firm and work themselves up, and I feel as though when a women asks and thinks like a man they are more likely to get the job the want and they are happyin, while getting the pay they desire. There is not one statistic where women surpass the men in the work place. In the work force they are four types of people: climbers, hedgers, coasters, and scanners.Climbers seek to advance in their current company. For example, one man says I went to the gym at 6:00 this morning, and the other replied, I went to the gym this morning too, but I went at 5:58 and didn’t eat breakfast. On oppose to women, who does not practice this theory, but instead when they speak they try to get to know each other and not sell themselves. So in the work place men sell themselves all the time without knowing, this is why men gets paid by their potential, because they speak on their dominance. While women gets paid by what they have proven to do, since women lacks in that area. By men practicing the one up theory, they are able to advance future than women. ActionsIn the future I will take action by speaking up and act for what I deserve. It is hard to break the gap in between men and women. There is some thing that are out of my control, like bosses paying women for what they have done, while they pay men for their potential, so I will make sure my resume is the best ting they have seen, as well as selling my potential as key attributes that came make their company
