Summary: The Murder Of Arcan Cetin

Synopsis:
On Friday, five people were shot dead at a Macy's store at the Cascade Mall in Burlington, north of Seattle. The lone suspect of killing five, a man and four women, was found and taken into custody after a 24-hour manhunt this Saturday night. Arcan Cetin, a 20 year old young man was charged of five first-degree murders. The identity of this young man has not yet been released but as of right now, he is in the Skagit County Jail and will appear in the country’s court on Monday. Authorities arrested Cetin as he was walking near his home in Oak Harbor, Washington. When the police approached Cetin he was very calm and he complied with the police. Cetin had walked into the mall without a weapon and had left the weapon he acquired at the murder scene. The authorities are trying to find out where he got his weapon from. The police did not yet state anything about the about Cetin’s mental health and other specific details about the weapon, since the investigation is still ongoing. The police did mention that Cetin was once arrested before for a simple assault, which was not mentioned. They had finally tracked down Cetin’s vehicle by matching information received from surveillance footage obtained from local business. Cetin also cooperated with the police and had not said a single word. Based on this information, I think that Cetin has a mental problem or has a reason for these murders. His record was not clear but wasn’t bad either because he had only been arrested once for a simple assault, so it is something else that has led up to this event, unless he had lost his mental stability. This can be relatable to the guy who took his mother’s gun, shot children, teachers at his mother’s school, and then had shot himself. I believe he had lost his mental stability and just lost his mind. He just did anything without a reason just like Cetin. However, Cetin did not kill himself instead he left and acted normal, he also cooperated with the police. He could have done multiple things such as running away, going “underground”, or he could have resist and could have said something. I believe that Cetin had mental problem or had a motive to kill these people. According to the authorities, Cetin had acquired the weapon at the mall, which is very suspicious because they don't sell guns at the mall, so where could he have possibly acquired this weapon? I think that he had an ally that gave him the gun to kill the five
