The Issue of Racial Profiling Throughout the world, still today in the year 2017 there are still people who are racists, or people who think of different racists as less superior than other ones. In many cases this can be a bad thing to racial profile, because you don’t know if the person is a straight A student, full time worker, or even if they have children at home. In Staples case he was a student at the University of Chicago, when he was walking behind a white woman, she glared at him a couple times, then proceeded to speed up because she thought he was some sort of criminal or something. When in fact, Staples didn’t even do anything wrong, this woman seemed to run away because he was an African American Man walking near her. I
