I am a highly motivated employee who demonstrates a strong commitment to excellence and understands the vital importance of personal accountability. My high energy level, allows me to promote a positive work ethic and customer service mentality in support of our corporate values and mission. I received my Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Borough of Manhattan Community College in January of 2011, Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in May of 2014 and I will receive my Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Manhattan College in June of 2016. I have 7 ½ years of relevant work experience.
For the past three years I have provided administrative support to Staten Island Overhead Construction services. As an assistant I perform routine daily functions such as filing, typing documents, copying, E-faxing, and preparing requisitions for office supplies. I submit the department personnel medical records to their physicians or our medical department. I aid in reviewing Notice of Violations in the Summons System and investigate whether the violation is warranted; or if there are grounds for a protest in court. I interacted daily with customers and personnel in other departments such as (Electric Operations, Gas Operations and Field operations). I handled over 70 calls per day during 8-12 hour periods. I managed customer accounts by using the Customer Information System (CIS). I resolved billing problems and clarified customer complaints, determined the causes of the problem, and exercised independent judgement by selecting the best solution to resolve the matter.
