On Friday we left the campsite at 9.00 and enjoyed visiting the Railway museum at Peterborough. During this tour (led by a newbie who needed to read her notes), Ben decided on his career move. He was going to obtain a railway and run a steam engine for tourists.
Over the next few days this was more solidified in his mind. While walking into Wilpena Pound, there were many animated and detailed discussions on how he could make a request to the South Australian Government for loans and build his own tourist venture along the narrow gauge line between Peterborough and Cockburn. Perhaps he could transport cars and caravans on the train while the passengers enjoy the steam train ride.
