The Family of Bell Woods
Beware, boys and girls; beware Bell Woods.
It is not a place of fun for young children.
Creatures are lurking in its shadows.
Tall and small, evil and kind.
Their is a family that roams those woods five of them. looking to either help or slay their travelers
Heed my warning and you might live.
Don't and I hope they end you quickly.
At the outskirts stands the oldest, the Laborer
The smartest and meekest of the family
He who towers over all manner of man and beast
Yet is more gentler than the morning dew on the grass
Maybe you know of the Laborer
Who breaches the woods in the time before the sun is awake
Who tills the fields as we slumber
And returns before the sun breaks the sky
Yes, the Laborer has brought good fortune to

To him, the five beasts of Bell Woods were just that;
A challenge that he sought to defeat.
At its threshold, he passed the Laborer,
Who sensed the determination of the huntsman.
He besought him to reconsider continuing forward;
“You will not make it far like that!” he warned.
The huntsman scoffed at the first beast’s warning
Presuming his words were a means of intimidation.
He continued into the woods, where the next of the five waited,
Leaving the gentle Laborer in a daze.
Well, days passed, then weeks, and then months;
And there was no evidence of the huntsman’s return.
Many wondered of his fate, but only I was determined to seek the truth.
In the dead of night, I slipped from my bed and hurried to the fields.
There, the lonesome Laborer tended the soil,
I anxiously asked, “What of the huntsman?”
The lofty creature looked down to me,
And with a somber note he answered;
“He was swift and spirited,
Eluding the Lurker’s grasp,
But was far too assured;
And was seized by the presence of the Carver.
The Carver gave to him a nod,
But the huntsman did not return it.
The Carver gave to him his

    New England Forests When the pilgrims arrived in 1620, they cut down most of the forests in the New England area in order to clear land for farming and to build houses. However, from 1850 to 1950, many people abandoned farms in favor of jobs in the textile industry. Others moved away because the land in the Midwest was cheaper. In any case, once these farmers left, the forest ecosystem began to recover. Seeds were carried to the abandoned fields by animals and the wind.…

    I had just entered my junior year in high school and was back to playing football, my grades were good so far and my A.D.D. medication was helping me a lot.
