Marijuana is a drug that everyone knows of because of its recent popularity. There is a big debate whether is should be decriminalized or not throughout the whole nation. When talking about marijuana itself, it all comes down to its benefits. Marijuana is one of the most widely used products in the world. It has many uses. You can either ingest it by smoking it or eating it. As you take it in, the THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) and other cannabinoids attach themselves to receptors found in the brain and in the body. CB1 is found in the brain and it controls the body, memory, and vomiting (Marijuana as Medicine: Consider the Pros and Cons). CB2 is found in tissue of the immune system. Within minutes, you'll start to feel the effects which may last one to two hours depending on the amount you're consuming. Edibles work differently however.
