With its association to these other drugs, society has been led to believe that marijuana is just as severe a drug as the other drugs under this group. After a person tries marijuana, this classification of drugs leads the person to believe that the other drugs are just as harmless as marijuana, which leads them to move onto more harmful drugs. Generalizations such as this one need to change. Marijuana should be legal under both state and federal laws.
