The government should continue to fund NASA because according to the History of Space Exploration Project we did, it shows that we weren’t able to see what Earth really looked like until Explorer 6 was launched. This is important because for the longest time, people thought the earth was flat. Then, after that we said it was a sphere. But, we never really knew what Earth looked like until launching a satellite capable of sending pictures of Earth from space. These pictures showed if Earth was made of more water than land or if it was more oval shaped than circle. We would have never known what we were living on looked like if NASA never existed.
