RBAA Sketch 1
First off, I’m excited to write this research paper. I’m thrilled to do research on a topic I’m fairly interested in. Today in this sketch I will be talking about my focused research topic, which is agreeing the issue if college athletes should or shouldn’t get paid. I will be talking about how College Athletes Should get paid for everything they do for their school.
I’m really interested in this topic because I have had love for college sports since I was a little kid and I always planned on being one. Sadly, I never became one. I have followed college athletes and sports because of my passionate love for a specific sport in college. That sport is college football and I have been a die hard Nebraska Cornhusker fan my whole entire life.
When the topic of college athletes getting paid is presented, it usually involves college athletes that are either basketball or football stars at a premiere Division one school. I do know a little about this topic of college athletes getting paid, but not as much as I would like to know. Therefore, is why I want to research more about and become more knowledgeable in this subject of college athletes getting paid. …show more content…
I also know that it cost an arm and leg to attend a college sports game. Colleges’ benefit of the players playing their sports. As saying that colleges’ benefit from the players by having paying fans I also know that benefit from the players off the court or field. With players that are well known to fans they have the players wear certain clothes, shoes, and gear of a company. That company pays the colleges’ for having their players represent their gear. Its all advertisement for companies like Nike, Adidas, and Puma. The college players are the ones advertising it, whether its on the field or off the
