In Harm De Blij Why Geography Matters More Than Ever you get an understanding of what the world is today, how it developed to what is left of it, and how the historical events play a role in the physical features. Harm De Blij connects the reader by explaining how the historical events that he wrote about are relevant to the theme(s) and main points in the story. He also reiterates perspectives and viewpoints from both sides of the stories thus making his book non-biased to either side of the events. There are many ways that we can stop these actions from happening again.One way is by making sure to be mindful of others and their cultures. Another is by being socially aware of how our actions impact the people who are coming after us. We also need to know how to accomplish our goals or get our point across without negatively changing the course of history. Moreover, if a tragedy such as the ones mentioned in the book occurred I can help giving back by giving away the things that I don't need or used anymore to those who are. For instance, I can go through my clothes and shoes to help the families who lost their belongings. I can also go through my pantry and give away the canned foods and snacks to help others eats until they can get back to where they were before the tragedy. I can furthermore help locally by making community service projects at a school like Food Drives, or some students take a day off of school to help feed the victims of the attack. To help this problem globally we can have people donate to local blood drives and give it to those who were wounded. Another step we can take is by helping the victims is by helping them rebuild their houses and community around them so that they can continue to get
