The discovery that he has lung cancer despite not ever smoking in his entire life and that his family would not be able to survive financially became a worry for him so making sure that his family was secure was his ambition. Walter’s virtù begins to vanish as the show continues and the reason for this is every one that means something to him leaves. Walter becomes consumed with his life as a drug dealer and as his alter ego as “Heisenberg” as a result he spends less time with his family and eventually his wife finds out. Walter continues down this path despite making more than enough money for his family to survive with and the reason for this is that drug dealing made him feel alive
