That of which leads to the person displaying at least one of the following: loss of consciousness, posttraumatic amnesia, disorientation and confusion, and neurological sign. In addition, criteria C states that the symptoms must persist immediately following the accident or after consciousness (DSM). Written records did not describe Henry as disorientated, amnestic or displaying neurological signs like disruption in visual field. However, because he was unconscious for two hours due to rapid movement of the head and impact with the ground he fulfills the first portion of criteria. Criteria A requires fulfillment of the criteria for Mild Neurocognitive Disorder which is met with marked decline in cognition via “complex attention, executive function, learning and memory, language, perceptual-motor, or social cognition”.…
1. " The youth kept the bright colors to the front. He was waving his free arm in furious circles, the while shrieking mad calls and appeals, urging on those that did not need to be urged, for it seemed that the mob of blue men hurling themselves on the dangerous group of rifles were again grown suddenly wild with an enthusiasm of unselfishness. From the many firings starting toward them, it looked as if they would merely succeed in making a great sprinkling of corpses on the grass between their former position and the fence. But they were in a state of frenzy, perhaps because of forgotten vanities, and it made an exhibition of sublime recklessness.…

War is an emotional roller coaster; soldiers feel pain as comrade’s fall right before their eyes. They rejoice with patriotism as the army advances to defeat a common enemy. In the memoir, Helmet for My Pillow: from Parris Island to the Pacific, Robert Leckie recounts his war experience from beginning to end. He uses long- winded syntax to evoke powerful emotions from readers, provide intense imagery, and provide description of people and events. Without a doubt, long-winded syntax evokes powerful emotions from the reader.…
There are many people in this country that are my hero that have no idea that they are a hero to me. Police Officers are one of my biggest heros in my life. They risk their lives every day to keep the country working smoothly. Every time someone needs a law enforcement officer it is most likely their worst day, nobody calls an officer on a good day. In the recent social climate they do not get a good rep and that really makes me sad because of a couple bad apples ruin the reputation of the whole group of law enforcers.…
On 2 July 2000, Joey Dunlop died at an obscure road race meeting in the pine forests on Estonia’s Baltic coast (Tallinn), it was a multi-dimensional tragedy. Eye witnesses described the 125’s rear wheel stepping out part-way through the last corner, a left-hand bend where the surface is quite flat and water tends to lie. Joey corrected the slide, but was by then running out of room.…

It all began in the year 1198 BC, when a woman born in the town of Pallet in the province of Hoenn gave birth to something they thought was a mere child, but when she was born they realized that it was something beyond that. The creature, as they called it, was something peculiar, like a common baby, but very beautiful, strong, and with absurdly rapid reflexes. The creature, was agile, strong, and nervous, but docile with the nearest ones. One day, to such a creature, accidentally fell from a cliff in the city of pallet, where normally the sick and the elderly would throw themselves to kill themselves. Everyone thought she had died,…
To begin, there are three questions that we should think about. The first question is, what is war? According to the MerriamWebster dictionary, war means a state or period of fighting between countries or groups; a situation in which people or groups compete with or fight against each other; an organized effort by a government or other large organization to stop or defeat something that is viewed as dangerous or bad. The second question is, why is war a common occurrence when it comes to disagreement between nations? War is a common occurrence because all other areas of nonforcible options were left unresolved, so the state justifies a declaration of war with selfdefense.…
Gravity Is Real Think of an all-star athlete. It could be anyone like Michael Jordan, Serena Williams, or Clay Matthews. They are all a decent height and very fit. Now imagine me, an average height girl with a decently fit body. A random person in a grocery store would think I am athletic, right before they see me slip on the smooth tile floor.…
