Unit 2: Synthesis Quiz Rob and Angie are two people who aren’t getting along. They are having very many problems. Rob wants more ; he wants Angie to move in with him and he wants commitment. Angie on the other hand isn’t ready for that. She thinks that they should keep things light and fun. Angie ends up avoiding Rob, not wanting to admit her feelings so that they could stay together. There are about three different ways you can analyze Rob and Angie’s situation, according to the three theories by Barbara Fredrickson, Sultan Tarlaci, and Robert Sternberg. If Fredrickson were analyzing Rob and Angie’s story she would say how they aren’t sharing positive resonance. Her theory is that to create positive resonance, one must follow three steps.
